Meet April Mayorga, LMFT
Welcome! I’m April.
I believe that individuals and couples are the foundation of the systems that heal our world. I began my practice, Mayorga Psychotherapy, out of experiencing a need and calling for therapy that values collaboration, integrity, inclusivity, compassion and trust.
I am committed to facilitating individual growth and development of the whole person, by providing high-quality psychotherapy that is ethical, culturally humble, and social justice-oriented. Services are provided with compassion, mindfulness, and culturally sensitive approaches.
My Approach
I use an integrative approach that allows for engaging collaboration between client and therapist.
We work together to explore and understand what the best fit will be for your specific needs and goals. I specialize in working with individuals and couples seeking to break the cycles of trauma, anxiety, and depression. I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Mindfulness, Brainspotting (BSP), trauma-focused somatics, trauma-focused cognitive therapy, and more.
